Learning Kits  may  be rented for 2-week periods.

However, OUTREACH PROGRAMS and GUIDED TOURS are not currently available.

Student group tours are available Tuesday-Friday and are 1½-2 hours in length. Topics are presented using reproductions of objects from the Museum collection, historical costumes, period music and visual displays.  All tours use some part of the historic Judd-Harris House in the presentation, and may include time in the Children’s Hands-On Room.

Activities are planned to engage the various learning styles of individual students.  Each tour includes background information on the topic presented, guided discussion,s and a hands-on activity for students to complete at the Museum or in their classroom as a follow-up activity.

The fee for guided group tours is $6.00 per student.  We require one chaperone for every 8 students.  Required chaperones are admitted at no charge.  All other adults pay the student rate of $6.00.  We require a  minimum of 10 students per group and limit group size to 24 students per session.

The Museum is fully ADA accessible.   Please let us know in advance if any special accommodations need to be made for your group.
