1950s Campus Theater Movie Programs

The Campus Theater, a motion picture venue, began operation in the remodeled Lockwood’s Restaurant on Main Street, Middlebury in 1936. According to the 1956 edition of the Yearbook of Motion Pictures, the Campus Theater was associated with Graphic Theaters Circuit and had a seating capacity of 674. It was later remodeled and converted into a two-house movie theater and reopened in the fall of 1990. Today it is known as the Marquis Theater.
