Give from your IRAs
If you are age 70½ or older, you can donate directly to the Henry Sheldon Museum from your individual retirement accounts (IRAs) without it being counted as taxable income. The gift must come from your required minimum distribution. Your financial institution needs to issue the check directly to us, and the gift must be made by December 31 of the tax year.
