The Sheldon will be open free to the public from 1-7 pm. There will be music by Aida O’Brien in the Museum Garden under the IPJ Tent beginning at 5 pm as part of our Summer Friday Series. All attendees are encouraged to bring a chair, blanket, or something else to sit on. The Sheldon Museum thanks Table 21 for supporting the Sheldon’s Summer Fridays Series.
Aída O’Brien is an Americana and roots musician based in Burlington, VT. Her music is a blend of old time, bluegrass, blues and rock n roll. In June of 2020, she released an EP called Girl in the Blue Dress, which spans seven years of songwriting and chronicles the beginning of her gender transition. She has performed at music festivals and well-known venues like the Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance in Trumansburg, NY, Iron Horse Music Hall and Pearl Street Ballroom in Northampton, MA.
