"Bug Art at the Fairbanks Museum"
The Henry Sheldon Museum welcomes Beau Harris, Collections Manager at the Fairbanks Museum. Harris will provide an exciting overview of the fascinating collection of bug art at the Fairbanks Museum. One prominent topic will be "bug artist" John Hampson, and Harris will explore his interest in insects and how he created his "bug" images. Harris will also discuss other insect collections housed at the Fairbanks Museum, including some living specimens, and he will explain how the Museum cares for these special, fragile pieces.
